The 1st of February we celebrated St. Brigid’s day. Mrs. Flynn and her class made crosses, the cross is said to protect your home from the danger of fire. Our Aldi play rugby poster arrived and we need to collect 300 stickers to be in with a chance of winning 50,000 euro for our school. Thank you to everyone who has handed in stickers for the poster. We celebrated Grandparents day this month, thank you to everyone who attended. The Corkman had a great display of photos from the day. We have started back with our exercise stations in the morning, we keep active and healthy doing our P.E. stations in the mornings. The children of 5th and 6th will receive the sacrament of Confirmation in Rockchapel this Thursday the 7th @ 11am, we wish all the children of Meelin N.S. and Rockchapel N.S. all the best on this special day.
