We recently celebrated Science week.
The children attended a virtual science event thanks to curious minds.
The Infants were tasked with building houses , they were very impressive. They also carried out a soggy boots experiment.
The children built tall towers from tinfoil , it was touch & go to see which tower would stay standing.
Classes learned about trees & we were donated a tree from the tree council of Ireland in conjunction with Spar shops. Many thanks to them.
The older classes were set an assignment of “ create our future “ under the headings – farming , health & education. The results were of a very high standard.
