As part of our Junior Entrepreneur Programme we were delighted to welcome local entrepreneur Matthew Collins of The Sibly Company to visit our 4th, 5th and 6th class .
Matthew spoke to the children about the process of setting up his own business, how he came up with the idea and how he has expanded since he first began the business a few years ago. He spoke about the various roles of each of his employees and how each one of the different roles must work together for the success of the business.
We were thrilled to have Matthew give the children plenty of advice on working together, advertising techniques, marketing, using online platforms to promote the products as well as the importance of taking everything one step at a time.
He even brought in some delicious samples of his products for the class to enjoy! We really appreciate Matthew giving up his time to chat with us.
